Our Story
It's March 2020, the early days of the global COVID-19 pandemic and sisters Alicia and Miranda are living and working in Alberta - Alicia in Calgary and Miranda in Fort McMurray. One sister calls the other to pitch the idea of combining their unique but complementary views on health and wellness and passion for low-waste living. The other sister enthusiastically commits, the ball gets rolling.....and the rest is history.

Exactly one year later in March 2021, they drove across the country with their dogs to start renovating their new building and future home of the Apothecary in their beautiful hometown of Antigonish, Nova Scotia.
