We provide:

  • As part of our commitment to waste reduction, Teasdale Apothecary Co. is proud to offer all of our customers the option to have your prescriptions filled in reusable glass vials instead of single-use plastic.   • We direct bill all major insurance companies! If it’s your first time visiting, please make sure you bring all relevant insurance information with you.

  • We offer a variety of clinic services ranging from assessing and prescribing for minor ailments, to medication reviews and immunization services. For a full list of clinical services, click here.

  • We offer a selection of routine public health vaccines, such as seasonal influenza and COVID-19 vaccines. Appointments must be booked online or by calling 1-833-797-7772.

  • Compounding is the art and science of creating custom medications from raw materials. It allows for the creation of specific dosages or alternative formats for patients (including pets!) with specific needs. It is commonly used in sports medicine, dermatology, veterinary medicine, and hormone treatments, just to name a few.

  • We provide compliance (blister) packaging free of charge. Blister packaging is an excellent way to keep your medications organized as each day’s medication is separated and labeled.

  • We have certified staff who can help you get measured for custom compression stockings. Compression stockings are a type of hosiery that help to prevent and treat certain venous disorders (varicose and spider veins, blood clots, leg ulcers, swelling, phlebitis). Compression stockings They also provide relief from leg symptoms like aching, fatigue, and heaviness.

  • Naloxone kits are available free of charge to anyone at risk of opioid poisoning, and those who may witness and/or respond to an opioid poisoning. Participants will be offered training on how to identify a poisoning and respond with a naloxone kit. Training can take less than 10 minutes. Learn more about Naloxone kits here.

  • We dispense methadone and suboxone for patients treating opioid use disorders.

  • We carry a range of over-the-counter products to meet all of your health needs. This includes pain management, cough + cold, sexual health, urinary + vaginal health, menstrual health, first aid, digestion, eye care, sinus + allergy, vitamins + supplements and probiotics.

  • Free prescription delivery services are provided Monday - Thursday, within the town limits of Antigonish.

Looking to transfer?

It’s easy to do so! We are always accepting new patients. Please visit us in person or give us a call. Our staff will collect some basic information from you and we’ll handle the transfer. All you’ll need to do is let your prescriber’s office know the next time you see them to update your pharmacy on file!
