We are here to help. Our Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) can offer specialized support and education to help you reach your health goals.

You can book with a CDE if you:


have concerns about your blood sugar


are new to insulin


have type 1 or type 2 diabetes


are experiencing gestational diabetes


have been told by your doctor that you’re pre-diabetic

Services are free for individuals with a Nova Scotia Health Card.

CDEs work collaboratively with other members of your healthcare team, including your primary care provider.
